James Craig
Founder | Architect

Mr. James Craig was born in Owen Sound. 

He attended school at Parkdale Collegiate. 

He was a veteran of World Wars I and II, serving as Captain and Major overseas. 

Graduated from the School of Architecture from the University of Toronto with a Science degree.

Founder, Craig and Madill Architects in 1910.

He was the president of the OAA in 1931 and 1932.

Projects Worked on:

- Palace Pier

- The Band Stand at the Toronto Exhibition Grounds

- Beaverton Public School

- Beaverton Post Office

- Hastings County Home for the Aged in Belleville

- Windsor Court Apartments

- Pembroke Collegiate

- Earl Haig Collegiate and others.

Mr. Craig died at the age of 65 of a heart attack.
