Mr. Henry Harrison Madill was born in Beaverton, Ontario. Moved to Toronto with his family.
He was a member of the Queen's Own Rifles.
Served in World Wars I and II instructing offficers.
He graduated with a Science degree from the School of Architecture at University of Toronto.
Founder, Craig and Madill Architects in 1910.
He became the head of the Architecture Department at the University of Toronto.
Mr. Madill taught in the School of Architecture Department at U of T for 23 years, retiring in 1957 at the age of 68.

Mr. Madill lived in Toronto in good health to the age of 97 years.
