CIBC Dundas and Ossington in Toronto, was the amalgamation and renovation of two existing buildings into one in a two stage development. This approach allowed for the existing branch to remain open throughout the construction with little interruption.
The layout of the interior offices is mirrored in the pattern of the exterior façade. The lower band of windows corresponds to the offices of the local branch providing an open, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, while the upper band reflects the offices of the regional branch providing a more private, corporate attitude.

"We have to replace beauty, which is a cultural concept, with goodness, which is a humanist concept."
