This new school is located in the Town of Markham. It has been assumed that the proposed school size will be the permanent facility size, however, it has been designed to allow for planned expansion, to allow for the conversion of space to meet program changes, and has been designed with multi-functional spaces. The school board continues to support the concept of community use of this school.

The school features a Child Care centre for both preschool as well as kindergarten aged children, a Special Education Classroom with a program for the developmentally delayed, a Resource Withdrawal / Student Support Centre, and a Reading Recovery Room. The school also features two discovery break-out areas adjacent to and serving two sets of three regular classrooms.
