was designed for the City of York Board of Education. The high school is located on a plateau and is surrounded by an eleven meter high escarpment that is fully treed. This situation was integrated into the design of the school so that it could be entered from both the ground level and also from the top of the escarpment. The two entrances are connected by a skylit galleria that bisects the building diagonally.
In 1993 the project received an Award of Distinction from the Congress of Education Facility Planners International.
